Product Characteristics

5Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb is a precipitation hardened martensitic aging steel, equivalent to S17400 in ASTM A564. The melting and development of this steel grade is already highly mature, and it has been widely used for manufacturing shaft parts and turbine components
0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb can achieve even higher strength and hardness through low-temperature treatment. As a precipitation / aging hardened steel, its ductility and toughness can be improved by increasing the aging temperature, and it possesses excellent oxidation resistance and antibacterial properties.

Industrial Application

17-4PH can maintain stable performance under high temperature and high pressure, and is therefore commonly used to manufacture the high-precision and high-load shaft parts and turbine components. 0Cr17Ni4Cu4Nb features excellent corrosion resistance, performing well under high temperature and acidic/alkaline media, particularly suitable for marine environments and the chemical industry. Its high strength and good machinability also make it widely used in the aviation & aerospace industry (including aero engine components, aerospace structural parts) and the petrochemical field.
