Product Characteristics

1Cr17 belongs to ferritic stainless steel, and features good corrosion resistance and thermal conductivity. Its thermal-expansion coefficient is smaller than that of austenitic steels. It is mainly used for oxidation-resistant combustion components below 900℃.

Industrial Application

The Company's main finished product is flat bars. This steel grade has good corrosion resistance in oxidizing acid solutions, especially nitric acid. Therefore, it is widely used for manufacturing chemical equipment for nitric-acid production, such as: absorption towers, nitric-acid heat exchangers, acid tanks, transfer pipes and vessels. They may also be used for pipes and tableware in food and brewing industries.

The Company's flat bars products are mainly applied to the production of nitric-acid chemical equipment.
