40CrNiMoA is a steel grade produced by appropriately adding one or several alloy elements (with total content not exceeding 5%) on the basis of high-quality carbon structural steel, among which Mo can refine grains and increase temper-resistance.

Industrial Application

It is mainly used for steam turbine gears, gear rings, integral-forged rotors; internal combustion engine connecting rods and valves; high-strength and high-toughness forgings with relatively large section size, such as: wind power generator forgings, forging-press crankshafts, etc.; special wear-resistant parts on automobiles and aircraft.
