Product Characteristics

30CrNi3 features excellent hardenability, relatively high strength and toughness. After quenching and low-temperature tempering or high-temperature tempering, it has good comprehensive mechanical properties. It has good machinability but low plasticity during cold deformation, and poor weldability; and shows white-point sensitivity and a tendency to temper brittleness. Generally, it is used in the quenched and tempered condition.

It is used for manufacturing the important large-size quenched and tempered components subjected to high torsional and impact loads and requiring good hardenability, and also can be used as important parts bearing large dynamic and static loads in hot forging and hot punching.
