Product Characteristics

30CrMnSiNi2A is an ultra-high-strength steel with high hardenability and good toughness. With the increase of carbon content, the strength of steel increases, but its plasticity and toughness decrease. In addition, increasing the silicon content can increase the strength of steel, and the effect on plasticity is small, and toughness is basically unaffected. Increasing the manganese content slightly decreases the strength of steel, but does not damage the toughness. Adding a certain amount of molybdenum has little effect on the strength and plasticity of steel, but can improve toughness.

Industrial Application

It is suitable for making important bearing structural components, such as high-strength connecting parts and shaft parts.
