Alloy Structural Steel
Grade:
38CrA、5140Standards and Technical Conditions:
GJB 1951、GJB 1220A
-
Product Characteristics
-
38CrA is a medium-carbon quenched and tempered alloy steel. After quenching-and-tempering treatment, this grade features good mechanical properties, good low-temperature impact toughness, low notch sensitivity, and fairly good cutting-machining performance. However, this grade has low hardenability, and poor properties in cold deformation, plasticity and welding.
-
Industrial Application
-
Generally, it is used for manufacturing bolts, connecting parts and other fasteners bearing medium and low loads.
-
Company Product Applications
-
38CrA is a widely-used alloy steel in the fastener industry, mainly applied in the national standards and aviation standards. The products include bolts, screws, nuts, washers, pins and non-standard parts.
