Austenitic Stainless Steel
Grade:
50Mn18Cr4WNStandards and Technical Conditions:
JB/T 1268
-
Product Characteristics
-
50Mn18Cr4WN is a Mn-Cr series non-magnetic austenitic retaining ring steel that is formed by adding tungsten and nitrogen to 50Mn18Cr4. Tungsten can slow down the precipitation of carbides in steel, and nitrogen can expand and stabilize austenite, thus further strengthening the steel. After solid-solution treatment, it undergoes the semi-thermal deformation strengthening or cold deformation strengthening to meet the different strength requirements.
-
Industrial Application
-
50Mn18Cr4WN is used for non-magnetic retaining ring forgings of steam turbine generators, and other parts requiring non-magnetism.
-
Company Product Applications
-
The Company produces rings applied for non-magnetic rings of steam turbine generators.
