Product Characteristics

S-03 alloy is a high-strength precipitation hardened martensitic aging stainless steel. Besides martensitic structure strengthening, carbides and intermetallic compounds precipitated during aging provide precipitation strengthening, thus it has very high strength and toughness. Meanwhile, as it contains relatively high Cr, Ni, Mo and other elements, it has good corrosion resistance to atmosphere, acids or salts.

Industrial Application

The alloy's main products are bars and forgings. The alloy has been used in valve components and parts of liquid rocket engines, and used in aero engine components. After long-term production and service evaluation, its service performance is good. Alloy supply condition: bars possess the good thermal processing process plasticity and good tensile, impact and low-temperature properties.

Company Product Applications

The bars produced by the Company are applied to key components of aero engines and liquid oxygen kerosene engines, such as main pipelines.
