1Mn18Cr18N is a high Mn-N austenitic stainless steel. It shows the excellent comprehensive mechanical property and good capacity of stress corrosion resistance. Due to the characteristics of low carbon and high chromium, it possesses the excellent corrosion resistance. Moreover, the addition of nitrogen expands the austenite phase area at room temperature, preventing it from developing ferromagnetic properties.
